Our Love Story
First Meet
We first met in Grand Rapids, Michigan while helping open a new Whole Foods Market. Working together in the kitchen all week quickly turned into spending our evenings together with fellow team members at the hotel bar.
On Lauren's last night in town we exchanged numbers and instantly felt a special connection. After a few missed texts due to Jeremy's broken phone, one final message brought us together - and from that moment on we knew our story was just beginning.

First Date
We never had a traditional first date - our story started a little differently. Two weeks after we met we both volunteered to go back to Grand Rapids to help support the store. But really, it was just an excuse to see each other again.
While we were there we went to dinner, grabbed drinks, and spent time getting to know each other better. What started as a work trip quickly became the closest thing we had to a first date - and the start of our story together.

Proposal
On August 17, 2023, a rainy yet sunny Michigan afternoon, Lauren arrived home from work expecting an ordinary evening. Jeremy casually mentioned that he had trapped some baby bunnies in the woods. Being the animal lover she is, Lauren immediately insisted that they head out to the campsite to set them free. We hopped on a four-wheeler and made our way through the rain toward the campsite.
Upon arrival, Lauren quickly realized there were no baby bunnies waiting for her. Instead, she found a beautifully decorated campsite glowing with lights, surrounded with flowers, completer with champagne waiting nearby. Confused at first, Lauren's questions were soon answered when Jeremy got down on one knee, pulled out a gorgeous ring, and asked Lauren to be his forever. Of course, she said yes.
